Limited Warranty
OVERVIEW
GALT Advanced Technology (“GALT”) stands behind the quality of its products. This Limited Warranty outlines the terms and conditions for warranty coverage on AMD Radeon™ memory and storage solutions, offered exclusively to the original end-user customer.
Warranty Coverage
GALT warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If a product proves defective due to faulty materials or workmanship, GALT will, at its discretion:
- Repair the defective product,
- Replace it with a new or recertified unit (functionally equivalent to new), or
- Issue a refund for the original purchase price.
Proof of purchase is required, including the original date, place of purchase, product description, and price.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage from improper installation, accidents, abuse, misuse, natural disasters, or irregular electrical conditions
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, cracks)
- Unauthorized disassembly, repairs, or modifications
- Use not in accordance with product instructions or outside intended function
- Products with altered, removed, or unreadable identification labels
- Data loss, software issues, or third-party equipment damage
GALT is not responsible for any costs associated with diagnosis, data recovery, or installation/removal of products.
Warranty Period
- SSD Warranty: 3 years from the purchase date limited by the maximum number of DATA WRITE cycles. Failures resulting from excessive write activity are considered End-Of-Life (EOL) conditions and are not covered under this warranty. In GALT’s implementation of SMART monitoring for SATA SSDs, a brand-new, unused product will display a value of 100 for the SMART attribute labelled “SSD Life Remaining.” When the product reaches the end of its warranty life, this value will read 1.
- For NVMe SSDs, a new product will show 0% under the Health attribute “Percentage Used.” Once the device reaches the warranty threshold, this value will be 100%.
- DRAM Warranty: 2 years from the purchase date
Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty or 90 days—whichever is longer. Warranty coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

How to Make a Warranty Claim
To submit a claim:
- Return the product to the original point of purchase.
- Confirm return policy and procedures beforehand.
- Include the original packaging, product identification (model/serial number), a description of the issue, and proof of purchase.
If accepted, you will receive a replacement of the same model or a refund.
Legal Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this warranty is the complete and exclusive warranty for GALT products and supersedes all prior statements or representations. GALT expressly disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
GALT products are not authorized for life support systems or applications where product failure could result in injury or death (e.g., military, medical, traffic control, or disaster prevention systems).
GALT’s total liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the product only. We are not liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including data loss, lost profits, or business interruption.
